Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 5, 2026
Best Energy Consulting ("Best Energy Consulting," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit our website, submit a form, engage with our advertising on LinkedIn, or otherwise interact with us.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. When you complete a form on our website or a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form, request an assessment, download a resource, or request a consultation, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, job title, company name, industry, and any other information you choose to provide.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, time spent on pages, and other browsing activity through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.
Information from third parties. We may receive business contact information from LinkedIn, business data providers, and publicly available sources to support our marketing and business development activities.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your inquiries and deliver requested resources, assessments, or consultations
- Send you business communications and marketing content you may find relevant
- Operate, analyze, and improve our website and services
- Measure the performance of our advertising campaigns
- Show you relevant advertising on LinkedIn and other platforms
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
3. LinkedIn Advertising and Tracking
We advertise on LinkedIn and use LinkedIn's marketing tools, including the following:
LinkedIn Insight Tag. Our website uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag, a piece of code that allows LinkedIn to collect information about visits to our site, including URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics, and timestamp. LinkedIn uses this data to provide us with aggregated, de-identified reports on campaign performance and website demographics, to measure conversions, and to enable retargeting. We do not receive personal information that directly identifies you from the Insight Tag. LinkedIn processes this data in accordance with the LinkedIn Privacy Policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms. If you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form for one of our ads, LinkedIn shares the information in that form with us. We use it only for the purposes described in the form and in this policy, such as delivering the resource you requested and following up on your interest.
Matched Audiences. We may use LinkedIn Matched Audiences to show our ads to people who have visited our website or whose business contact information we already hold. When we upload contact information to LinkedIn for this purpose, it is hashed (encrypted) before transfer, used only for matching, and not used by LinkedIn to build its own profiles.
Conversion tracking. We may share limited information with LinkedIn, such as the fact that a form was submitted, to measure the effectiveness of our ads.
Your choices. You can opt out of LinkedIn's use of your website activity for advertising:
- LinkedIn members: adjust your ad settings at https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/advertising
- Non-members: use LinkedIn's guest controls at https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls
- You may also block or delete cookies through your browser settings or our cookie consent banner
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for website functionality, analytics, and advertising. These include technologies from HubSpot and LinkedIn. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies. You can manage your preferences at any time through our cookie banner or your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how our website functions.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share personal information with:
- Service providers that help us operate our business, such as our CRM and marketing automation platform (HubSpot), advertising platforms (LinkedIn), and website hosting providers, who are permitted to use it only to perform services for us

7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
